Job Description
The Credit Controller will;
- Monitor and manage client accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Contact customers to resolve outstanding invoices and discrepancies.
- Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Prepare and distribute regular credit control reports to the management team.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Implement and follow up on agreed payment plans with clients when necessary.
- Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience within a similar role in the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams effectively.
- A proactive approach to resolving payment issues and maintaining account accuracy.
