Creative Studio Operations Manager

The Creative Studio Operations Manager leads the day‑to‑day running of Nteractives Creative Studio ensuring it operates efficiently, profitably and at scale. You’ll build and optimise workflows, manage financial health (P&L budgeting, forecasting) and create scalable processes to support both ongoing client work and new business development.

This role is perfect for someone who loves building structure, aligning people and processes and bringing clarity to a fast‑paced creative environment. You’ll be performance‑driven ensuring the right people are on the right projects at the right time balancing operational discipline with the creative freedom that drives excellent client outcomes.

Location : Surrey UK (Hybrid working)
What you’ll be doing

As Creative Studio Operations Manager you’ll oversee operations, financial health and team performance to ensure the creative studio runs efficiently, profitably and at scale. You’ll partner closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to streamline workflows, manage resources and create scalable processes that support both ongoing client work and new business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership – Build, optimise and manage end‑to‑end workflows that keep projects moving efficiently, on time and to a high standard.
  • Use our project management, resourcing and financial tools to maximise efficiency, accuracy and visibility for all stakeholders.
  • Continuously streamline processes, removing bottlenecks and creating scalable playbooks for repeatable success.
  • Balance speed with risk management – know when to move fast and when to protect quality and mitigate risk.
  • Design workflows that allow rapid response to new business opportunities while protecting ongoing client work.
  • Financial & Business Management – Own the Creative Studio’s P&L, forecasting, budgeting and margin management.
  • Build business cases for new hires and resourcing ensuring ROI and profitability.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership offering visibility into current performance and future needs.
  • Team Leadership & Culture – Mentor, coach and inspire team members fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Build and maintain a network of reliable freelancers and external partners to flex capacity as needed.
  • Ensure the studio environment, virtual and in‑person, encourages collaboration, creativity and operational excellence.
  • Client & Stakeholder Experience – Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders partnering with account teams to understand client priorities and allocate creative resources accordingly.
  • Model a five‑star client‑first experience through responsiveness, professionalism and service excellence.
What you will bring
  • 7 years of experience in operations, project management or creative production leadership (agency or in‑house).
  • Experience running operations for a creative studio, production agency or design team that delivers events, exhibitions, conferences and/or experiential activations.
  • Demonstrated experience running a creative studio design team or production operation or transferable experience leading a service‑oriented operations function.
  • Strong financial acumen with proven experience managing budgets, P&Ls and resource planning.
  • Expertise in process development, workflow optimisation and project management tools/systems.
  • Expert knowledge of resource management and IR35 tools as well as a strong understanding of the timesheet process and analysis.
  • Experience managing and developing direct reports and cross‑functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A performance‑driven mindset: balancing speed, quality and risk while fostering collaboration.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment multitasking and prioritising with precision.
