A recruitment agency is seeking a Cover Teacher for a mainstream Secondary School in Boston. This role requires a commitment to cover lessons from 08:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 months experience in lesson delivery or supervision with children. The position pays according to the teacher pay scale, and access to a vehicle is essential for working across two school sites.
Milk Education are recruiting for a Cover Teacher for a mainstream Secondary School in Boston to cover lessons for absent members of staff from 08:30 – 15:30 each day. The role will require 5 days commitment per week, Monday to Friday. The school prides itself on the diversity and inclusion of both its staff and students, and aims to support their children in the best way with their educational journey. The school has good pupil behaviour and a national average amount of students with special needs. You will be required to cover lessons for absent members of staff across core subject areas (all planning provided and no marking required), following the school’s policies, managing classroom behaviour and making sure students continue to make progress in the absence of their regular teacher.
The role is paid to your current teacher pay scale from day one. The school has two sites half a mile apart and at times, you will be required to work across both sites, so access to a vehicle is essential. This role would also suit applicants that do not hold QTS, but who have a minimum of 6 months experience in delivering lessons, training programmes or working in a supervisory capacity with children or post‑16 learners.
