Role - Cover Teacher

Location: Stockport

A close partner of Teaching Personnel is requiring an adaptable Secondary Cover Teacher to provide general cover for a welcoming and supportive Secondary School in Stockport. This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting part time work and a more flexible work schedule throughout your week. The school is a very respectable school based in Stockport with highly welcoming and supportive staff. It is also a great chance to get into more teaching if you have previously taught and had a break!

The school is situated near various public transport links and also has access to staff car parks. The pay for this role will be up to £160 per day.

Job Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • PGCE
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous secondary teaching experience is desirable but not essential
Job Duties
  • Follow and deliver original teacher lesson plans
  • Covering KS3 and KS4 lessons
  • Strong ability to build relationships over a short period of time
