Cover Supervisor - Secondary. Day-to-day & Long-term Opportunities | Ideal for Experienced TAs or Behaviour Mentors. Milk Education are looking for confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Romford. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants or Behaviour Mentors who are ready to take the next step in their career and gain valuable experience leading classes in the absence of the teacher.

The schools you'll support are inclusive, modern, and welcoming, with a strong commitment to diversity and equal opportunities. You'll play an important role in maintaining a positive learning environment and supporting pupils to stay engaged and on-task.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Supervising classes during teacher absence and delivering pre-planned lessons
  • Managing behaviour and promoting a calm, focused learning environment
  • Supporting students with their work and encouraging progress
  • Adapting quickly to different year groups, subjects, and school routines
Experience / Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a school setting (as a TA, Behaviour Mentor, HLTA, or similar)
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate secondary students
  • Confident, adaptable, and professional approach
