Are you a performer, artist, musician, or creative graduate looking for flexible work that fits around auditions and professional projects? Why not bring your creativity, communication skills, and confidence into the classroom as a Cover Supervisor in a London secondary school?
This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young people, develop your classroom presence, and gain valuable experience – all while maintaining the flexibility you need to pursue your creative career.
Your performing and creative background gives you unique strengths that transfer perfectly into schools:
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll be based in a secondary school (11 – 18 year olds). You will lead classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain on task, managing behaviour, and creating a calm, focused learning environment. This is a key role within secondary schools, as almost every school relies on cover supervisors to ensure continuity of learning.
Working as a Cover Supervisor is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a secondary school setting while enjoying flexible working hours.
You do not need any formal qualifications to be a Cover Supervisor, but you will need to get an Enhanced DBS certificate to work with children (we can offer assistance if you need to apply). You will also need to provide professional or academic references covering the past two years.
If you’re ready to use your creativity and communication skills to inspire the next generation, apply today to become a Cover Supervisor. This is your chance to bring your talents into the classroom, support young people, and gain rewarding experience alongside your creative career.
