We’re working with forward-thinking secondary schools across North Bristol looking for confident, capable Cover Supervisors to step in when teachers are away. You don’t need to plan or mark, just lead the lesson, keep things on track, and be the go-to grown-up when it matters most.
Delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects
Managing classroom behaviour and encouraging engagement
Providing feedback to teachers after cover lessons
Acting as a positive, steady presence across the school day
Experience working with young people in a school, youth work, or coaching setting
Strong classroom presence and confidence leading groups
Flexibility to cover different subjects and year groups
Calm, clear communication—and a sense of humour helps too!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
