Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Kingston Upon Thames
Start Date: September 2025

Are you ready to step into the world of education and make a difference in the lives of students? We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor for an immediate start in September to support secondary schools across Kingston upon Thames. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the classroom, particularly if you're considering a career in teaching.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising classes across a range of subjects, ensuring students are engaged with the work set by their absent teacher.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive, productive learning environment.
  • Providing additional support to individual students or small groups as needed.
  • Maintaining classroom order and discipline while adhering to the school's behaviour policies.
  • Assisting with various administrative tasks and supporting school-wide activities.
  • Reporting back to teachers on students progress, behaviour, and any issues.
Requirements
  • Experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting, but not essential.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
