Cover Supervisors Needed - Flintshire - September 2025

Are you a confident and outgoing graduate who likes the idea of securing a school-based role filled with variety and excitement? Where every day is different and a new learning experience? Have you considered working as a Cover Supervisor? A new opportunity has arisen for a Cover Supervisor to join a fantastic Secondary School in Flintshire. With opportunities to progress on to Teacher Training in the future, this Cover Supervisor role is the perfect job for aspiring teachers who are seeking additional classroom experience before applying for a PGCE.

Responsibilities

• Secondary School based in Flitshire
• Covering lessons across Years 7-11 in a variety of subject areas
• Delivering pre-set lesson plans
• Ensure students are on-task and understand the work that has been set
• Using the school's behaviour policies to maintain classroom control

Requirements

• Excellent academic record with a strong track record of attainment in GCSEs and A-Levels
• Graduates with a degree specialism within English, Maths or Science are of particular interest
• Confidence to stand in front of classes of up to 30 students and deliver pre-set lesson plans
• Experience in a similar role (e.g., TEFL) would be well suited

Job Details

• Pay: Up to £100 per day
• Full-time: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 15:30
