A reputable Education Trust in Wymondham is seeking a Cover Supervisor to supervise lessons during teacher absences. Responsibilities include managing pupil behavior, providing support for independent learning, and establishing positive relationships with students. A minimum of Grade C in English and Maths is required, along with a degree-level qualification being advantageous. This role offers a permanent position within a supportive educational environment.

Salary: Points 7:11 of the SET Support Staff Salary Scale, FTE A GBP 26,403 : A GBP 28,142 per annum, Pro:rata A GBP 20,660 : A GBP 22,413 per annum, including an allowance for holiday pay
Vacancy Type: Permanent, 38.75 hours per week, term:time only
The College is a member of the Education Trust, an expanding education trust consisting of 13 Primary and 9 Secondary schools.
The College wishes to appoint an effective and reliable individual who has a good rapport with young people to join their team of Cover Supervisors on a permanent basis for daily cover.
Cover Supervisors supervise lessons during the short-term absence of teachers, undertake administrative tasks in departments and assist in other areas of the College, including boarding houses as required. Some specialist knowledge in a particular area of the curriculum would be advantageous for this post, but is not a requirement.
From time to time, Cover Supervisors may be asked to accompany visits and trips out of College hours.
