We’re on the lookout for Cover Supervisors ready to make a difference in secondary schools across County Durham. You’ll be the person who steps up when the regular teacher’s away, keeping students engaged, on task, and learning.

What the job looks like:

Supervising pre-set lessons across a range of subjects

Managing classroom behaviour and keeping things on track

Answering questions, giving guidance, and encouraging participation

Being a calm, confident presence pupils can rely on

What you’ll need to apply:

A degree in a relevant subject (, English, Science, Sport)
OR experience working with children or young people in the UK
Strong communication and classroom management skills
A proactive, can-do attitude and a genuine interest in education
