As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring that pupils remain engaged with their work and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure pupils remain on task.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Provide support and encouragement to students across a variety of subjects.
• Adapt to different classroom environments and year groups.
• Report back to teaching staff regarding pupil progress and behaviour.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with young people (school-based or other relevant settings).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students.
• Flexible and proactive approach.
• A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
