Are you a Cover Supervisor available for immediate work within secondary schools? OR are you a University Graduate looking for work experience before starting your PGCE? If yes, we have the role for you!

Cover People are looking for confident candidates with strong interpersonal skills with the flexibility needed to be a successful cover supervisor.

Position: Cover Supervisor

Location: South Manchester (Secondary Schools)

Employment Type: Full Time/Part Time, Mon to Fri 8:30AM to 3:30PM

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising classes during teacher absences
  • Ensuring students are completing the work set by SLT/class teachers
  • Manage behaviour within the classroom - creating a constructive learning environment
  • Providing support to students where necessary
Requirements
  • A degree or relevant experience
  • A passion for education and working with young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Cover People UK
