Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary: £90 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Flexible supply (day-to-day, short-term, and long-term opportunities)

Overview

Are you passionate about education and looking for a flexible role that makes a difference? We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Cover Supervisors to join our team, providing essential support to secondary schools across Leeds. This role involves supervising pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment for students in Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver pre-set lessons across various subjects, maintaining student engagement.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Support students in completing their work and address any questions.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student progress and behaviour.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English at Grade C or above.
  • Previous experience working with children or young adults is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and a passion for education.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Flexibility and reliability to meet the needs of our partner schools.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
