About the Role:

As a Supply Cover Supervisor, you ll step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task. You won t be required to plan lessons your role is to deliver pre-prepared work, manage the classroom, and maintain a positive learning environment.

You ll gain invaluable experience across different schools, subjects, and year groups, making every day varied and rewarding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, following set lesson plans.
  • Manage student behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Support students in completing assigned work.
  • Ensure a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.
  • Liaise with school staff and report back on student progress or issues.
About You:
  • Confident, resilient, and able to manage a classroom effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with young people (in education, youth work, coaching, or similar) is an advantage.
  • A genuine interest in education and supporting student learning.
  • Flexible and reliable, with the ability to adapt quickly to new settings.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
