I am working with a leading Social Welfare law firm in London seeking a Court of Protection (Welfare) Solicitor with at least one year post-qualification experience. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded team specialising in community care, housing, and public law, recognised in Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.
You will primarily focus on Court of Protection cases, representing clients via litigation friends, family members, and, in some cases, directly. There will also be opportunities to gain experience in community care, housing, and public law matters, working alongside a supportive and highly experienced team. The firm has strong referral networks through local charities and NGOs, and is often instructed by the Official Solicitor, giving you the opportunity to work on meaningful cases and develop this area of practice. Experience of privately-funded work is a plus, and familiarity with Legal Aid and CCMS is essential.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected team, work on impactful cases, and grow your Court of Protection practice.
