A regional healthcare provider in Greater London is seeking a reliable Courier Driver to assist with delivering a high-quality courier service across various facilities. The ideal candidate should be physically fit and adaptable to changing schedules while maintaining accurate delivery records. The role includes transporting medical supplies and supporting the fleet team when required. Competitive salary offered at £13.85 per hour with a uniform provided.
As a Courier Driver you will be required to assist the Transport and Logistics Service with delivering a high quality Courier Service for the Trust.
You would cover primarily ad‑hoc courier requests as allocated by the Courier Dispatcher throughout your shift which will therefore require you to be adaptable and flexible throughout the day. You will delivering and collecting from GP practices, renal units, community hospitals and other Trust sites in one of the Trust courier vans.
You may be required on occasion to support with the pre‑planned courier runs and training will be provided for this.
You would wear a uniform which will be provided to you.
The post holder is expected to be punctual and also flexible regarding shift times in order to accommodate the service.
This role involves significant physical activity and manual tasks. Therefore, applicants should possess a level of physical fitness that allows them to perform these duties effectively and safely.
