Role purpose

To work in the Occupational Health Department at Furness General Hospital, providing counselling to staff members of UHMBT. We are a short term therapy service and therefore you need to be comfortable offering 6 session therapy.

Main duties

• To provide short term counselling to staff members of UHMBT.
• To run some training sessions for staff members. To work within the multi disciplinary team of Occupational Health.
• Providing counselling, working within the multidisciplinary team, including working as an active member in the therapy team. Providing occasional support training sessions.

We operate from three main hospitals-Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre.
