A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in the UK. You will play a pivotal role in Cost Management, leading projects and mentor junior staff. This position requires strong communication skills and qualifications like MRICS or equivalent. A degree in a relevant field is essential, along with experience in Quantity Surveying. You will play a pivotal role in Cost Management and Assurance as well as pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying (QS) services to our prestige clients – across a range of sectors. Projects are always diverse and unique with a wide range of scale and complexity. Our clients are always prestige organisations demanding high standards and requiring high skillsets.
Depending on seniority and experience you could be involved in delivering projects, leading a QS/commercial team, as well as training and mentoring staff, bid writing, winning work, people leadership and management, representing WSP UK at industry events, etc.
You will join a diverse, growing team of Cost Managers Quantity Surveyors, and Commercial Managers, and other related professionals working across multiple sectors. Currently we are expanding in several sectors (Water, Defence and Offshore Energy). We have many opportunities here, so we’d really like to talk to you if you are in the Water Sector and wish to grow with us.
You will be based in one of our Southern Hub Offices at: London (Canary Wharf); Guildford, or Cambridge.
