Job description
Overview

Responsible for all activities associated with supporting the Machine operator in setup, operation and clean-up of the corrugated machinery.

Responsibilities
  • Learning the role as a machine casemaker operative.
  • Learning to set up, check jobs and ultimately be a second to the lead operator.
  • Informing Machine operator of faulty machinery and production issues.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations when operating machinery.
  • Keeping work areas and the factory floor clean and free from hazardous material.
  • Adhering to operational procedures and production timelines.
  • Any other duties as requested by management.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience / Qualifications
  • Mechanical knowledge and advantage.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment, learn quickly and follow established processes.
  • Good mathematical skills, must be able to use a calculator and read a measuring tape.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak in good English.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organised, detail orientated and self-motivated individual.
Physical demands

To succesfully perform the essential functions of this role it requires the ability to: stand constantly, walk constantly, frequent use of hands and arms, the role require some manual lifting.
