Tradewind Recruitment is working with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Brent that is seeking a reliable, energetic, and proactive Corridor Supervisor to join their pastoral team ASAP. This full-time, long-term role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, working closely with students, and being a consistent, visible presence throughout the school day.

Responsibilities
  • Be a highly visible presence around the school site during transitions between lessons, break times, and other busy periods.
  • Promote positive behaviour, encourage calm and respectful conduct, and ensure students move safely and promptly between classes.
  • Respond to situations in real time - from de-escalating low-level incidents to supporting students in need.
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with students across all year groups.
  • Liaise with Heads of Year, the pastoral team, and senior leaders to report concerns and ensure consistency.
  • Support with behaviour monitoring, punctuality, uniform checks, and general conduct.
  • Contribute to a strong school culture by modelling professionalism, approachability, and authority.
  • Support the supervision of internal exclusions, detentions, and other behaviour interventions as required.

This is a dynamic and physically active role, requiring someone who can remain alert, move around the school site confidently, and adapt quickly to changing circumstances throughout the day.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience working with young people, ideally in a school, youth work, or behaviour support setting.
  • A calm, confident, and authoritative presence.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach - ready to respond to the demands of a fast-paced school day.
  • A genuine passion for supporting student well-being and behaviour.
  • An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and inclusive practice.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
What We Offer
  • A welcoming and diverse school environment with a strong pastoral ethos.
  • A full-time, long-term position starting ASAP.
  • Competitive daily rate, based on experience.
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • A highly supportive pastoral and leadership team.
  • Excellent transport links in a well-connected North West London location.
