Responsibilities

  • Lead UK tax compliance and oversee overseas tax submissions.
  • Prepare year-end tax disclosures under UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Manage the audit process with external auditors.
  • Oversee corporate tax instalment payments.
  • Manage the SAO process and HMRC submissions.
  • Support HMRC enquiries and strategic projects.
  • Coach and develop direct reports.

Are you a Tax Compliance Manager looking for the chance to shape a growing international finance function? Join this PE backed business at an exciting time of rapid expansion across Europe and beyond, where you will play a key role in strengthening global tax capability and driving best-in-class compliance.

Reporting directly to the Group Tax Manager, you will take ownership of corporate tax compliance and reporting for both UK and international entities, acting as a trusted adviser to the business and helping to build a high-performing tax team. Key areas of involvement will be:

  • Leading UK tax compliance and overseeing overseas tax submissions, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Preparing year-end tax disclosures under UK GAAP and IFRS for statutory and consolidated accounts
  • Managing the audit process and working closely with external auditors
  • Overseeing corporate tax instalment payments for UK and overseas entities
  • Managing the SAO process, including process mapping and HMRC submissions
  • Supporting HMRC enquiries and contributing to a variety of ad-hoc and strategic projects
  • Coaching, developing and supervising direct reports within the tax team

Ideally you will be CTA qualified with post-qualification experience and a strong understanding of UK corporate tax legislation, IFRS tax accounting and financial reporting. You will be an excellent communicator who enjoys partnering with the business and helping others grow.
