Overview

I'm exclusively partnering with a leading FTSE 10 organisation in the FMCG sector to recruit a Corporate Tax Manager for their UK & Ireland finance function. This opportunity is ideal for a tax professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys combining technical expertise with strategic business partnering.

As part of a centralised tax team, you'll collaborate with global colleagues and external advisors to deliver accurate reporting, ensure compliance, and support tax planning across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert tax guidance to finance, legal, and governance teams
  • Support structural and operational initiatives, including entity simplification
  • Review corporate tax filings and statutory disclosures
  • Manage quarterly tax provision processes
  • Perform technical tax calculations (e.g. R&D incentives, capital gains, transfer pricing)
  • Oversee withholding tax processes and treaty relief applications
  • Liaise with tax authorities to resolve queries and ensure compliance
  • Monitor tax payments and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare financial adjustments and forecasts
  • Ensure tax balances are correctly reflected in financial statements
Candidate Profile
  • ACA, CTA, or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in UK corporate tax
  • Strong understanding of IFRS/FRS 101 tax accounting
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Excel and financial systems
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively
