Job summary

A successful law firm in Holborn is looking for a Corporate Receptionist and Events Coordinator to provide professional front of house services. You'll handle diary management, assist guests, and coordinate events while demonstrating excellent customer service and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have reception experience in a corporate setting and strong organizational skills.

Job description

Our client, a successful law firm based in Holborn is looking for an exceptional Corporate Receptionist and Events Coordinator to join their fab team!

You will be the first point of contact and provide professional front of house services in the office, by arranging diary management, assist guests, IT set up and refreshments, in line with agreed budgets for all events.

This role will require the candidate to pay meticulous attention to detail whilst always exercising first class customer service skills and a positive work ethic. We are looking for someone who can anticipate the needs of the team and come up with innovative solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls, transferring them efficiently to the appropriate person, taking accurate messages or transferring to voicemail facility
  • Maintain diary booking service for meeting rooms
  • Meet and greet clients and/or colleagues from other offices
  • Assist guests with ad hoc requirements (e.g. booking taxis for clients, finding desk space for staff visiting from other offices)
  • Prepare and maintain meeting rooms, breakout area and kitchens on a daily basis
  • Order and purchase food, beverages, kitchen supplies and equipment
  • Coordinate in-house and external events such as Xmas parties, client events and grad school programmein line with agreed budgets for all events
  • Liaise with Facilities and IT teams as necessary
  • Open and process incoming post and prepare daily courier packages
  • Undertake additional duties as required.
