Job Description

The Corporate Partner will be :

• Manage the Corporate practice in Leeds, growing and shaping the team
• Advising on high-value M&A transactions, private equity deals and venture capital investments
• Cultivating and leveraging a strong network of corporate / PE contacts to win new work
• Partnering with national practice colleagues to deliver cross‑office, cross‑jurisdictional deals
• Working with multinational clients, investment houses and entrepreneurial businesses
• Driving business development, profiling the Northern offices and enhancing brand presence
• Ensuring the delivery of excellent client service and legal work of the highest standard

The Successful Applicant

The Corporate Partner should be :

• A Partner or Legal Director working in corporate / private equity / venture capital work
• Proven partner‑level experience
• Strong contact base within PE houses, multi‑national companies or investment managers
• Experienced in building or significantly growing a team
• Skilled in advising on M&A, growth / exit strategies, venture capital investment and private equity transactions
• Comfortable working in a growing regional office environment while interfacing with a national practice
