Location: Nationwide (Field Based)

Division: Industrial & Commercial

Contract: Full-time

Salary: Up to £60k + Commission + Car / Car Allowance

The Role

Our client is seeking a Corporate Business Development Manager to join the Industrial & Commercial division and drive high‑value growth. This strategic, field‑based position involves identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing a strong pipeline, and delivering tailored solutions that showcase their business model. If you thrive on building relationships, negotiating major contracts, and creating solutions that make a real impact, this could be the perfect next step for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through tenders and strategic proposals.
  • Lead the full sales cycle – from prospecting and presentations to negotiation and contract close.
  • Manage a robust pipeline worth £15‑20 million, with individual contracts averaging £1.5 million.
  • Collaborate internally to ensure smooth handovers and exceptional client experience.
  • Promote sustainable waste management solutions that deliver real value to clients.
About You
  • Proven success in field‑based business development (3+ years).
  • Experience selling contracted services worth £1 m+ annually.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of tendering processes.
  • Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and confident engaging at all business levels.
  • Knowledge of waste management or related legislation is a bonus, but not essential.
