Purpose Statement: Provides service to customers or guests attending a banquet or other catered event.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • To support the Chef Manager in supervision of the canteen
  • To assist Management to conduct a smooth and efficient catering operation
  • To assist in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the staff restaurant
  • To serve food and beverages over the counter during business hours. Having regard for good
    customer care and presentation and control standards set by the chef manager
  • To wash up, operate dishwasher and clean where directed by the Supervisor
  • Taking responsibility for company cash, card transactions and stock security.
  • To supervise the workload of the Catering Assistants

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a HS Diploma is required
  • Catering and hospitality qualifications preferred but not essential
  • Catering experience preferred
