Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a part-time Cook in Bristol to prepare meals for the community. The ideal candidate should have food hygiene certification and be comfortable working independently in a kitchen. Responsibilities include meal preparation, dispatching meals to drivers, and maintaining records. This is a temporary contract position offering £13.47 per hour.

Qualifications

• MUST be comfortable and confident to work alone in the kitchen.
• Knowledge and ability to follow picking lists for meal preparation.
• Experience in maintaining food hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare approximately 190 meals per day for elderly customers.
• Ensure correct meals are dispatched to drivers by 11:00 am.
• Maintain standard records and report stock defects.

Part time 5 hours a day

Community meals is a year-round service, including all weekends and Christmas and Bank holidays.

Daily Shift hours will be: 7.00-12.00

• Candidates, must have knowledge/ability to follow picking lists. In order to produceapprox. 190 meals per day for our elderly customers in the community.
• Distributing meals to 7 drivers – ensuring correct meals are dispatched,drivers leave site at 11.15 so meals need to be portioned and ready for drivers by11.00am

This is a Part time role on a temporary contract basis.
