Cook in Charge – Tal-y-bont Primary School

We are looking to recruit a Cook in Charge to join our Catering Team at Tal-y-bont Primary School on a permanent basis.

You will be expected to manage the school kitchen on a day-to‑day basis according to the standards laid down by Ceredigion County Council.

The role includes:

  • preparation and service of school dinners for pupils at the school
  • preparation of special diets for pupils as required
  • ensuring observance of Food Safety and Environmental Health standards
  • ensuring EEC standards on Manual Handling
  • general Health and Safety of kitchen including hazardous equipment and premises

We are looking to recruit an individual with:

  • experience/knowledge of working within a catering environment
