Cook 1

Ferryhill Primary School

Salary: £24,796 – £25,041 (pro‑rated for part‑time and sessional)

Hours: 10 per week, 38 weeks sessional

Responsibilities

Our cook 1's/catering assistants play a vital role in delivering high quality catering services within schools. Working as part of a team, to deliver a range of meals, basic food preparation and great customer care.

Qualifications & Checks

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If you have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more abroad in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. An unconditional offer of employment will be subject to the outcome of both pre‑employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

Additional Information

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. Happy to talk flexible working.
