Qualifications

Residential Conveyancing Solicitor – Stratford-upon-Avon

Our client is seeking an experienced Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or CLC Qualified Conveyancer to join its busy Property Department based in Stratford-upon-Avon.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Residential Conveyancing Professional to manage a varied caseload while also supporting the Head of Department and contributing to the ongoing development of the team and department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Remortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • Right to Buy
  • Shared ownership
  • New build and plot purchases
  • Supporting the Head of Department as required
  • Supervising and managing other fee earners and administrative staff
  • Ensuring files are managed in line with firm standards, policies and procedures
  • Liaising with clients, intermediaries, HM Land Registry and other third parties
  • Managing and meeting budgets and targets
  • Conducting internal file audits within the team
  • Playing an active role in business development for both yourself and the firm
Skills & Experience Required
  • Qualified Solicitor, CILEX, or CLC Conveyancer
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in residential conveyancing
  • Strong experience handling sales, purchases, leasehold, shared ownership and transfers of equity
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Sound knowledge of conveyancing procedures, CQS Protocol and Anti-Money Laundering legislation
  • Full driving licence and use of own vehicle essential
