Overview

A Conveyancing Paralegal/Legal Assistant is required for a progressive practice located close to Hoddesdon on the Herts/Essex border.

The successful Conveyancing Paralegal/Legal Assistant will have a minimum of 12 months experience in assisting fee earners with a caseload of residential property matters.

Responsibilities
  • Assist fee earners with residential conveyancing transactions
  • Manage ID checks, client documentation and searches
  • Liaise with clients and support case progression
  • Help improve efficiency and client experience
  • Perform general administrative duties across the department as required
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in residential conveyancing
  • Possesses outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Be enthusiastic and want to be part of a supportive working environment
  • IT literacy will be a pre-requisite
  • Works well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • A team player who is equally comfortable working on their own initiative
  • Is personable, pro-active and detail orientated
