CRA Consulting are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly respected Sheffield-based law firm for the appointment of a Conveyancing Operations Manager. This is a senior leadership role within one of the region\'s most established property teams, offering long-term security, hybrid working, and the chance to make a real impact on the future direction of the department.

The Role

As Conveyancing Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal part in driving the performance and efficiency of the department. Working closely with the firm\'s leadership team, you will lead day-to-day operations, implement strategic improvements, and ensure service excellence across the board.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and overseeing the delivery of all residential conveyancing services, ensuring SLAs are consistently achieved and exceeded.
  • Implementing operational process improvements, technology solutions and change initiatives to maximise efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Managing and inspiring a high-performing team, providing training, coaching and career development opportunities.
  • Monitoring departmental performance, improving conversion rates and proactively managing pipelines.
  • Driving initiatives to continuously improve the client journey, ensuring a first-class experience at every stage.
  • Handling escalations and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders on strategic growth, compliance, and risk management.
The Candidate

We are keen to speak with professionals who can demonstrate:

  • Proven leadership experience in a Residential Conveyancing environment (Team Leader, Operations Manager or similar).
  • Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing processes and compliance requirements.
  • A track record of delivering operational improvements, business efficiencies and successful team management.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to unite teams and drive results.
  • Commercial acumen and an understanding of the UK conveyancing landscape.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional client service.
