Job Description

The Conveyancing Assistant will be:

  • Supporting fee‑earners in residential sales & purchases
  • Preparing documentation and ensuring file accuracy
  • Managing timelines, client communication, and follow-ups
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties
  • Using case‑management systems for data entry and file updates
  • Monitoring progress and escalating issues promptly
  • Assisting with compliance requirements and file audits
  • Contributing to process improvements and team meetings

The Successful Applicant

The Conveyancing Assistant should be:

  • A candidate with at least 6 months' experience in conveyancing support
  • Familiar with residential conveyancing processes and terminology
  • Organised, proactive, and detail‑oriented
  • Confident using case‑management software and KPI trackers
  • An effective communicator, both written and verbal
  • Eager to learn and progress towards fee‑earner roles
