Job Title: Contract Manager - Actvie fire - social housing

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Location: Chigwell

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Job Purpose

To manage the day-to-day operations of contract(s) from inception through to final account settlement. The role ensures all activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations, company policies, and electrical standards, while maintaining high levels of customer service to clients and residents.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the performance and compliance of your assigned contracts, ensuring delivery against KPIs and high standards across all areas. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily operations of reactive and planned maintenance (PPM) service delivery
  • Leading, supporting, and developing your team to meet professional and project delivery standards
  • Building and maintaining strong, collaborative client relationships
  • Managing all aspects of pricing, quotations, job reviews, and invoicing
  • Monitoring and meeting contract KPIs and service level expectations
  • Procuring necessary materials for each project
  • Ensuring full compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards
  • Supervising, mentoring, and appraising team members, including engineers and junior supervisors
  • Keeping up-to-date with legislation and contract trends to assess business impacts
  • Acting as the main point of contact for contract-related communications and issue resolution
  • Monitoring and reporting on contract expenditure
  • Regularly reviewing systems, procedures, and methods to drive improvements and efficiencies
  • Engaging with clients at every stage of project delivery to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback
  • Clearly communicating company values and service commitments to clients
  • Raising accurate invoices weekly per contract
Salary and Benefits
  • 23 days annual leave, increasing by 1 day each year of service (up to 25 days)
  • Option to sell up to 3 days of leave back to the company or carry forward 3 days per year
  • Paid full day for Christmas Eve and New Year\'s Eve (if falling on a weekday), despite early finish
