Contracts Manager - Exeter (Permanent)

We are working with a respected contractor to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple construction schemes across the region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company delivering high-quality projects and to play a key role in their continued success.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all on-site teams, ensuring projects run to programme and budget.
  • Prepare detailed construction programmes and progress reports.
  • Represent the company at monthly client and project meetings.
  • Support Site Managers with H&S compliance, RAMS, and CPP.
  • Assist the commercial team with procurement and risk management.
  • Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and client expectations.
  • Use Microsoft Project and Microsoft 365 Apps for planning and reporting.
About You
  • Experienced in main/principal contracting.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and JCT contracts.
  • Track record of managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent leadership, organisation, and client-facing skills.
  • SMSTS, First Aid, and relevant H&S training required.
  • Temporary Works Coordinator experience (ideal).
