Contract Software Systems Support Engineer

Redline has an extraordinary opportunity for a Contract Software Systems Support Engineer based in Oxfordshire, with a specialist scientific company who are at the forefront of groundbreaking scientific experiments.

This contract will not accept candidates operating via a PSC, therefore you will be required to work via an Umbrella company.

This is a great opportunity to work with technology that you will not find anywhere else in the UK. The company is currently undertaking the biggest project in their history, worth around £500 million and they need you to come on board and help them make it a success.

You will be responsible for finding faults, using their software system, within the installed control system. This will include providing operational support and analysis of the control systems and liaising with internal customers to development requirements, track progress and verify operation of control systems.

Key skills required - Contract Software Systems Support Engineer in Oxfordshire. Experience with:

• Software able to remotely access control systems - Epics is preferred but not essential
• PLCs
• Motor controllers
• Running diagnostics and analysis of control systems
