Contract Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Leicestershire

Rate: £36 per hour Outside IR35

Shifts: Rotating shifts (average 47.5 hours per week)

Start: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing Contract

We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support a high-volume FMCG manufacturing site on a contract basis. This role sits outside IR35 and offers consistent hours across rotating days and nights.

The Role

• Mechanical and electrical maintenance on production machinery
• Reactive breakdown support
• Planned preventative maintenance
• Supporting CI and reliability improvements
• Working closely with production teams
• Recording all work using CMMS systems

Requirements

• Time-served or Level 3 qualified engineer
• Strong multi-skilled background (electrical & mechanical)
• FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing experience
• Confident fault-finding ability
• Able to work rotating shifts
• Available immediately or at short notice

Hourly Rate

£36 per hour, Outside IR35
