Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Business Change Manager for a hybrid role in Milton Keynes. The position involves preparing the business for operational changes and delivering change plans. Ideal candidates will have proven experience in change management within large-scale engineering or operational programmes, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in SharePoint. This contract role is set for 6 months with the opportunity to work remotely.

Region: London and South East, Remote/Home working

Location: Milton Keynes (3 days per week, HQ)

Contract: 6 months (Inside IR35)

Clearance: BPSS

Start: ASAP

The Role
  • Prepare the business for significant operational and process changes from design through to delivery.
  • Act as the critical link between the project team and end-users across large, engineering-focused national teams.
  • Own and deliver change plans, business readiness assessments, and impact analyses.
  • Manage risks, constraints, and resource considerations to ensure change lands smoothly.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Stakeholder Managers to build high-quality, targeted communications.
  • Produce and maintain clear, structured content using SharePoint (must be highly proficient).
  • Champion best practice, providing expert change leadership to colleagues and project stakeholders.
  • Track, measure, and support adoption to ensure long-term behavioural and operational change.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience delivering business change on large-scale engineering, operational, or infrastructure programmes.
  • Experience embedding change into technical or maintenance teams (e.g. engineering, logistics, operations).
  • Strong organisational change expertise: impact assessment, readiness, planning, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent written communication skills and high proficiency in SharePoint.
  • Ability to work on site in Milton Keynes 3 days per week.
  • Confidence working with dispersed, frontline teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Structured, resilient, and calm under pressure.
