We’re Pod – one of the UK’s leading EV charging providers, trusted by over 250,000 customers and powering more than 5 million miles every single day. But behind the numbers is a team of passionate people working together to shape a smarter, more sustainable future. At Pod, we’re on a mission to make living with an electric vehicle easy and accessible for everyone. As we continue to scale, we’re expanding our Performance and Optimisation Team. We’re looking for a Continuous Improvement Lead to drive operational excellence across our growing EV charging business. If you’re passionate about data-driven decision-making, process optimisation, and fostering a culture of innovation, this is your chance to make a real impact as we scale.

We started off in 2009 as Pod Point, helping people make the switch to electric as EVs began to hit the road. Today, we’re leading the way into a smarter energy future. Now part of the EDF Family, a global leader in low‑carbon energy, we're giving people and communities the power to move confidently through electrification.

We’re proud to be the trusted charging partner for leading automotive brands like Mercedes, Jaguar Land Rover, BMW, and Kia; home builders Barratt and Bellway; and retail giants including Tesco. Our smart charging solutions don’t just support EV drivers - they help balance the grid, lower costs, and make clean energy accessible to everyone.

What you’ll do
  • Process Analysis & Optimisation – Analyse workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
  • Lean & Six Sigma Application – Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to optimise operational processes and drive excellence
  • Data-Driven Insights – Work with analysts to interpret data, conduct root cause analysis, and present actionable recommendations to leadership
  • Project Leadership – Lead and deliver improvement projects, ensuring timely execution, alignment with business objectives, and measurable impact
  • Performance Monitoring – Track KPIs and performance metrics to measure success and sustain improvements over time
  • Culture of Innovation – Champion continuous improvement by providing training, fostering collaboration, and embedding a proactive approach to change
