Are you a driven and ambitious Solicitor looking to specialize in Contentious Probate? This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded Dispute Resolution team within a leading law firm based in the Thames Valley. With a stellar reputation and consistent recognition in The Legal 500 and Chambers UK Guide, this firm offers a platform for professional growth and career progression.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a talented NQ to 2 years’ PQE Solicitor to join our expanding Contentious Probate team. You will work alongside a team of industry-leading legal professionals, including a highly respected partner with over 25 years of expertise in handling a diverse range of contentious probate matters.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of contentious probate matters, working closely with experienced partners.
• Handling cases efficiently and cost-effectively while ensuring top-tier client service.
• Maintaining the highest professional standards and adhering to the firm’s Lexcel-accredited quality standards.
• Engaging in business development and networking activities to support the firm’s continued growth.
• Proactively identifying and informing clients about the full range of services offered by the firm.

About You / Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor (NQ – 2 years PQE) with a strong academic background (2:1 degree or higher preferred).
• Experience or strong interest in Contentious Probate and Private Client disputes.
• ACTAPS qualification (preferred but not essential).
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, hardworking, and aligned with the firm’s values of excellence, integrity, and approachability.
• A team player with a proactive approach to business development and networking.
