Contentious Construction Associate / Senior Associate - Bristol

A top 100 law firm with a strong national reputation is looking to grow its Legal 500-ranked Construction team with the hire of an Associate or Senior Associate specialising in contentious matters.

This is a rare opportunity to join one of the South West's leading practices, known for its high-profile work across the construction and infrastructure sectors. The team advises a broad range of clients to include developers, contractors, consultants, and funders on complex disputes involving adjudication, litigation, arbitration, and mediation. You\'ll be stepping into a role that offers variety, autonomy, and genuine scope for progression.

Responsibilities
  • Manage your own caseload of construction disputes, working closely with senior colleagues on technically challenging and commercially significant matters.
Qualifications
  • Ideally 2+ years\' experience in contentious construction law
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
  • Confidence managing client relationships and running files independently
