Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in Investment Banking and Capital Markets to support our Consumer Duty initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial products, regulatory frameworks, and customer outcomes, and will play a key role in ensuring our compliance with the FCA's Consumer Duty regulations.


Your Role


  • Lead the analysis and delivery of Consumer Duty requirements across investment banking and capital markets functions.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and assess customer outcomes, product governance, and fair value assessments.

  • Map end-to-end customer journeys and identify areas of risk or non-compliance.

  • Translate regulatory requirements into actionable business and technical specifications.

  • Support the development of MI and reporting frameworks to monitor Consumer Duty compliance.

  • Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for new and existing products.

  • Work closely with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Product teams to ensure alignment with regulatory expectations.

  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and drive consensus.

  • Prepare documentation including business requirements, process flows, and user stories.


Your Profile


  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Investment Banking or Capital Markets.

  • Strong understanding of FCA Consumer Duty principles and regulatory landscape.

  • Experience with financial products such as derivatives, equities, fixed income, and structured products.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.

  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and JIRA/Confluence.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
