A government department in the UK seeks a motivated Consultant for a part-time role in musculoskeletal and sports medicine. The successful applicant will provide clinical leadership as part of a multi-disciplinary team aimed at delivering exemplary rehabilitation services. We are Defence Healthcare Recovery Group (DHRG), and we are seeking a professional, resourceful and motivated individual to join our encouraging and friendly team. DHRG is an inclusive and dedicated organisation working to provide excellent care to our entitled personnel. The successful applicant will join a dynamic multi-disciplinary team (MDT) of clinicians supporting the Defence Rehabilitation Service, including Primary Care Rehabilitation Facilities (PCRFs), Regional Rehabilitation Unit (RRU) and the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre at Stanford Hall (DMRC SH). The aim of the RRU is to return service personnel to active duty where possible and, where not, to ensure they are able to achieve the maximum level of independence and function as they continue their clinical pathway. You will be responsible for delivering the clinical leadership of the consultant-led specialist Musculoskeletal (MSK) and Sport & Exercise Medicine (SEM) service for Defence Rehabilitation, as part of the MDT within the RRU, in order to deliver a world class level of rehabilitation for service personnel.
