Job description

We are Defence Healthcare Recovery Group (DHRG), and we are searching for a professional, resourceful and motivated individual to join our encouraging and friendly team. DHRG is an inclusive and dedicated organisation working hard to provide excellent care to our entitled personnel! The successful applicant will be joining a dynamic multi‑disciplinary team (MDT) of clinicians supporting the Defence Rehabilitation Service, which includes Primary Care Rehabilitation Facilities (PCRFs), Regional Rehabilitation Unit (RRU) and the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre at Stanford Hall (DMRC SH). The aim of the RRU is to return service personnel to active duty where possible, and where not, to ensure they are able to achieve the maximum level of independence and function as they continue their clinical pathway. Please be advised that the Department is conducting a review of all pay‑related allowances which could impact the allowances that the post currently being advertised attracts.

We offer maternity, adoption or shared parental leave of up to 26 weeks full pay followed by 13 weeks of statutory pay and a further 13 weeks unpaid, and paternity leave of 2 weeks full pay.

You will be responsible for delivering the clinical leadership of the consultant‑led specialist musculoskeletal (MSK) and sport & exercise medicine (SEM) service for Defence Rehabilitation, as part of the MDT within the RRU, to deliver a world‑class level of rehabilitation for service personnel.
