Qualifications

• Must hold Full GMC Registration.
• Preferred experience in a management role within psychiatry.
• Knowledge of mental health issues and contemporary legislation.

Responsibilities

• Take clinical responsibility for patients during ward rounds and reviews.
• Act as Responsible Clinician under the Mental Health Act.
• Provide psychiatric insights in multidisciplinary team assessments.
• Participate in management and clinical governance meetings.
• Contribute to in-house training and supervision of junior staff.
• Maintain CPD and re-validation as required.
