A healthcare provider in Preston is seeking a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist for the CAMHS. The role involves leading a children's mental health service and participating in on-call duties. Applicants should have MBBS, GMC registration, and relevant experience. The position offers a competitive salary of £109,725 to £145,478 with a £40k recruitment premia and relocation package available.
Consultant Psychiatrist - CAMHS, Preston (10PA). This post will attract a Recruitment Premia. The post is full time (10PA) and based at Ellen House in Preston. The successful applicant will also be invited onto our Safety and Improvement Fellowship programme, a development initiative funded by the Trust in collaboration with Lancaster University and Matthew Syed Consulting to deepen improvement skills.
The postholder will be expected to participate on the Consultant On Call rota, for which additional remuneration will be payable.
The post holder will be a leading member of a well-established community children and young people\'s mental health service. You will provide input to the Preston CYP service and Royal Preston Hospital A&E and Paediatric ward.
Remuneration will be as set out in the New Consultant Contract according to previous experience. The role attracts a £40k recruitment premia on commencement and a relocation package may be available. There is associated on-call/consultant rota remuneration.
Eligibility criteria apply. Staff currently employed by the Trust would not be eligible for the recruitment and retention premia.
