Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, supervising junior staff, and participating in clinical governance. Applications are invited for enthusiastic and highly motivated Consultants in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia to join our existing team at the University Hospitals of Leicester.
Our specialist services Pain Medicine include clinics within sub specialities: Paediatric Chronic Pain, Facial pain, Pelvic pain, combined clinics with Drug de-addiction Specialist, sessions in LOROS for complex cancer pain and a successful Pain Management Programme. The Department of Anaesthesia at Leicester General site provides services within the Obstetric, High Dependency Unit, Elective Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, General Surgery and Urology including major Urology and Gynaecological robotic surgery specialties. The East Midlands Planned Care Centre (EMPCC) provides day case and 23hr care for a wide range of surgical specialties. We are seeking consultants with dedication, determination, and drive to work closely with colleagues throughout the organisation and you will benefit from the support of an experienced and enthusiastic multi-professional team committed to the delivery of brilliant patient care.
