A prominent healthcare institution in London seeks a full-time Consultant Radiologist to join a team specializing in Cardiothoracic Imaging. The post will be based at Guy's and St Thomas'. It is a requirement of employment to be prepared to work at any additional or different location owned or served by the Trust, on an on-going or temporary basis according to service demands.

The post holder will support established diagnostic radiology services and take an active interest in service development, participate in teaching programs, and engage in research and development.
Radiology Services is seeking to appoint a full-time Consultant Radiologist (8 DCC / 2 SPA) with an interest in Cardiothoracic Imaging. The post is designed to meet increasing demand for diagnostic radiology services and to appoint a subspecialty-trained radiologist who is enthusiastic to join the team and be actively involved in the full range of adult diagnostic radiology, with a focus on Cardiothoracic imaging.
The successful candidate will be involved in the full range of cardiothoracic imaging, including, but not limited to, specialist reporting for lung cancer, interstitial lung disease, COPD / lung volume reduction, pulmonary hypertension, and cardiac CT for coronary artery disease and structural interventional planning. The role includes sessions of CT, MRI and plain film reporting and support for oncology and acute services. The post holder will participate in adult diagnostic radiology on call and contribute to the Radiology Department's culture of teaching and service improvement.
As an organisation, we are committed to developing services to best meet patient needs. This includes asking certain groups of staff to work more flexibly to provide services to patients in the evenings and at weekends. Any offer of employment to a consultant post will be subject to agreeing to work a new more flexible pattern of working in the future if required and in accordance with the provisions of the Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust consultant contract.
