Protected research time (0.4WTE) for the first 12 months. Under Professor Kate Walker and the Nottingham Clinical Trials Unit develop a grant application for a clinical trial in urogynaecology or general gynaecology. Expanded academic CV to apply for Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham.
Gynaecology service spans three sites: City Hospital, Queen's Medical Centre and Nottingham Treatment Centre (QMC campus). Accredited urogynaecology unit, mesh removal service, reproductive medicine, benign and emergency gynaecology, and gynae oncology. Primary Integrated Care Services with community clinics. The hospital also hosts the ‘NUH Life’ fertility centre providing NHS‑ and self‑funded fertility investigations and treatments in an outpatient setting. Weekly consultant meetings via MS Teams and quarterly departmental meetings support clinical collaboration.
